點解我會問，因為我覺得近年系街上，無論系Vancouver or Toronto，或者卡加利，甚至去到滿地可，嚴格d講，in Canada，都發覺有好多講普通話既人（ 唔系國語，我分辨得到）。

Most of the HKer have already succeeded in blending into the local culture and environment, so you don't see them stand out in Vancouver area (occasionally yes, otherwise, not really).

there's only a small percentage of them moved back to HK since, but otherwise, most of them settled down nicely.

The reason why you hear mandarin speaking folks more is because (a) the surge of them as recent migrants stand out; (b) they haven't fully blend in into the society yet (thus they tend to stand out).

    Well in some way thats good to hear that most of hkers still living in Canada.

    Maybe i most of time need to travel to Montreal so evey time when i go to DT i hear Mandarin most - of course In MTL area the chinese are still minority.

   I once considered to move back to HK but after several trips i found Hk today is not an ideal place to live by gathering different factors on whatever social or politic however,  i'd rather stay in Canada for a while.

Anyway , nice to discuss with you guys here.
