So far the Roger's is doing fine, faster with fewer line interuption, and the first 2 months 50% off, so
only $12  for  3G wireless. Hey, I do not work for Roger, just a new customer

i was shaw customer, switched to telus, not too bad, bulit in wireless router modem save a lot of space

The Telus wireless gateway has multiple disconnect issues and very little things you can do about it. I would avoid that caz if you by any chance have a bad one, you need to have a long chat with Telus before they will replace it.

I have way too many clients given a run-around with Telus. So many cases where my clients ask me to check the NIC on the computer and they are in fact fine. Also, their eProtect and e-advisor is a load of garbage.

Ever since Shaw has the 50% speed increase and power-boost, my download can go over 1.5Mb/s in any time. Torrents now can get over 600kb/s most of the time. I am more than happy to stay with Shaw. Still, Shaw Secure sucks.

Let's put it this way, unless Telus can move up the turtle speed from 1.5M line to 3M, they will be losing A LOT of business. 1.5M is so far behind the North American standard (based on Speedtest.net). Even an iPhone 3G tethering is faster than Telus ADSL.

I'm using EXTREME-1 as well. Last week I received Shaw's email saying they finished the hardware upgrade. so I test the download speed, it was 32Mbps in the morning at around 8:00 am.

I tried another test speed in the other day, it's still 24Mbps for downloading wor

yes, shaw has stepped up their speed. i am happy with shaw now.

no complain. glad that i didnt switch.
