終於無意中在Future Shop發现有Wii Console賣,買了一部ｏ現有幾個問题﹕
１.買 rechargeable battery pack 好,還是用普通AA size battery 好? For the rechageable one, should we buy the dock? Future Shop sales personnel told me there is one kind comes with a cord and can charge without the dock.
２‧I think I have to buy another remote, should I buy original Nintendo one. I find there is one game come with a remote for 59.99. Is it a good deal?
３‧ Did you guys buy the extended warranty?
４‧ The Sales associate told me after register the product online with Nintendo, Nintendo will mail 4 remote jackets to me. Is it true?

1. i'm using rechargable AA battery, not the wii style ones.  if u play wii a lot, i think you should get a rechargable batteries.  it drain out the battery fast.  i won't get the ones that you need to place your remote on the charger in order to get charge.  coz that means when you are charging, you cannot play.
2. i think you are talking about "wii play".  if u like to play those games, it worths gar.  it's like buying a game for $15 only.  so depending on your preferene la.
3. i didn't get extended warranty.  it comes with a 1 yr warrenty anyway.  if u register online, you get an extra 3 months warrenty.
4. you can fill in those online forms after registration to get your remote jacket (it just ask how many remote you have and they trust you. i only fill in 2 and they sent me 2).  but they are ugly.  you may not want to use them.

Went to Toyrus this morning at 9:30am...  they say they have a minimum 20 units of Wii Fit per store...  turned out they only had 5!     WTF.....

1. Personal preference la. I'm using regular alkaline, and I don't see it drains up the batteries too fast wor (2-3 hours a day). But of course depending on your playing habit, if you'll gonna play it 10 hours continuously in a day for 7 days a week, even rechargeable ones would die quickly la, haha. And I won't go for the charging dock at the beginning. I suggest you to try it out first and see. Just don't listen to the salesperson 100%, sometimes they just want to sell you more!
2. Only if you will have two people play at the same time for some 2-player games. And if you like that game of the package, it's a good deal to have an extra control included; but if you don't really like that game anyways and you need a second control, just simply get another control by itself la.
3. Remember, if you're going to mod it, even the original warranty will be voided anyways! So no point to buy extended warranty!
4. I think the new package includes one jacket in the package already. You only need to ask them for sending you jacket(s) if you got it long time ago.

Have fun with it la. You'll love it!

last night Twin & caveman was over to try to Wii Fit. it was very tiring & challenging for everybody! such a great deal for $89!!!

as for the Wii, we bought rechargable engergizer batteries & the energizer mini recharger (charges 4 at a time). The Wii balance board needs 4 batteries, so we might have to buy another pack of rechargable batteries... so so so fun!!!

I preorder wii fit @ Toysrus online and as of now it still said Special order: Awaiting for inventory! I was like what the... i have no clue y it doesn't have enough stock when it allow me to do preorder!
