I guess if you want a competitive setting, there's no replacement for real AutoX. Just want to correct the hearsay that was stated (Drivings Unlimited staff, who drives fast for a living, will not be able to teach one on how to drive a variety of cars (fast/slow) and FWD cars).
I've been to both kinds. For my style, for most cases I'd go with BMWCCBC events, for both track days and AutoX days. One'd argue that the VCMC AutoX events are expensive in a $ and time per lap basis. Where as someone else would say that BMWCCBC is expensive in a event to event basis. If one want to maximize the number of laps per $ and time spent, and also to have relatively a stress fee, no cone work experience, BMWCCBC Skill Challenge days is a good option. If one want a competitive setting, timed laps and want a low cost per event, proper AutoX event is probably a better option. Each should choose based on their personal preference and goals on which type of event to go for.
I think if ACC-HE is worried about pressure, relatively skill level and car competitiveness, BMWCCBC might be a better event to go for. |
