I don't consider I'm any compu geek for long, but anyway I do programming my whole life.  C#, C++ and all sort of script languages are I'm using these days.  And I do games.

What's most interesting?  Endless though problem to solve.  Hardness part? Superb tight deadline.  Enjoy most?  Very cool people to work with and learn from them.

Cool, B2L2, sounds like you have had a lot of experience.  So what kind of project are you working on currently?  What are some of the most interesting projects you have worked on?

TOP

What am I working on?  From in house artist application, to fighting for couple milliseconds execution time.

Interesting past projects?  Photoshop/Illustrator plugin that I could find illegal copies selling at HK.    3D video streaming turned out used in some porn sites.     And all the shipped or canned games that I worked on.

Amazing!

So which site used your 3d video streaming?   What 3d video format?  field sequential 3D? or the red/blue kind?  Did you license your technology to them? or..?

How many years have you been in the industry?

I bet you're super good in math, right?

3D porn was just a gimmick and it never sell well before I left that job.  And of course it is obsolete now since who still have a CRT these days.  Those wouldn't work on LCD.  The codec is proprietary by the company.  My work is just getting the streaming work on media player and realaudio player.  Works for both red/blue and interlace.  I still have few pairs of those shuttle glass around.

How many years I worked?  The above project was before the DotNet bubble burst, and that wasn't my first job.  You count.

@B2L2, guess what, my Samsung plasma hdtv supports 3D with wireless shutter glasses!

If you (or anyone here) interested, you're welcome to PM me and checkout my setup.  I have some 3D games that works with the glasses.  It is kindda cool!

Do you have any interlaced 3D video still?  May I borrow?

Really, wireless shuttle glass on HDTV..  amazing.

Then do you have antique tape drive to recover some backup DAT?  LOL.  I actually don't know where I put them already.
