Let's be realistic for a second.
What is going to happen after Leung is forced out of the CE position?
Who is going to take over? How will the replacement be chosen?

The main goal is for democracy to take a foot hold in HK (and maybe China). Forcing Leung out without a plan on how to choose the replacement is silly.

For all we know, China will just airdrop some random guy from China. And then we are just back to the beginning.

If the opposition is worth any salt, they should focus more on the process of choosing the next CE.

Beside, remember what happen to Tung? HK got Tsang afterwards and that did not work out well either.

Anyway HK needs to maintain its independent on political & judicial systems.

Whoever replaces CY as Chief executive is not important as i mentioned before, they are just a chess.

HK people should keep working hard for their democracy, this would be a belief but it will be the only way to lead HK move forward.

Just let long hair or mad dog Wong Yuk Man run the show. Only that will let them realize how difficult it is to run a government, within budget.
I hope long hair or mad dog will not bankrupt Hong Kong's coffers, like they do in Greece, Italy or the US.

I still think Hong Kong's financial future looks brighter than most other places. In the past 15 yrs, under Uncle Tung and bowtie Tsang, Hong Kong government has maintained its overall financial surplus, therefore HK has no net debt. In the meantime, other countries like Japan, US, Greece, Italy and Spain etc, are moving closer towards their financial cliff. Hong Kong is in a much better good position to give out welfare to its citizens over the long term.

totally agree!

總之, 香港一日仲係under 大陸, 就一日唔會有好日子過! 因為大陸收番香港, 唔係要幫香港有D咩發展, 目的只有一個, 就係要同化你班二奶仔香港人! 因為阿爺佢地咩都可以唔要, 淨係要面子就得架喇!

    睇下立法會就知道，每次都有議案，projects出來，目的好簡單，好多太子黨已經同地方權貴訂好指標去香港吸金，所謂建制亦是如此存在。大陸果套慢慢搬到香港來，呢個先系我開貼討論既目的。究竟太子黨點樣玩法？點樣從以前批文時代過渡到依家要影響立法會來幫距地搞金融活動，下回分解。

無論誰做特首，總之不是全民選的就要反，如689票就可控制700萬人，買通何等容易？這根本不能認可

不公制度下，反對黨也沒有可能成為執政黨，唯一可做的就是監察政府，反對惡法
