1 Comment(s) 1 Recommendation(s) VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - The Vancouver Canucks took out the Anaheim Ducks 4-1 at Rogers Arena in NHL pre-season action.
The Canucks entered the night winless in three games in exhibition play, and waited until late in the first period to scratch the scoreboard. Henrik Sedin gave the team the period's lone goal unassisted.
In the second frame, Guillaume Desbiens potted his first off a missed Alexandre Bolduc tip. That goal was soon followed by Daniel Sedin's rocket over the right shoulder of Ducks netminder Jonas Hiller. The team ended the second with a 3-0 lead.
In the third period Jordan Schroeder scored his first goal in his first game at Rogers Arena. Vancouver would surrender a late goal to former Canuck Josh Green.
