Pay attention to Dell.ca, they have awesome deals during Days of Deals on good quality BT headsets from Plantronics and Jabra. Some were as low as $19 shipped.
I just got the Plantronics Explorer 390 for $29.99. I also got a Sony BT Stereo headsets for $49.
When choosing BT headsets, these are my criteria:
- It must have noise and wind cancellation because you need it when you have your car windows open. All you will hear is blowing wind noise if no cancellation. More expensive models have better active cancellation than others.
- It must have at least 2 pairings, that means the same headsets can be paired on more than 1 devices. I use the headset on PS3 and my computer as well.
- It must have more than just "headset" profile, because if the phone supports more than one headset profile, you can actually control some functions your phone via the headset.
- It must have auto-off/battery save and in-car charger. I often forget to turn off the headset when I am not using it... so... when I need it, it has no power.
I would suggest you check out the reviews on Internet. There are big difference on the sound quality. My Nokia BT gives out sound on higher pitch, which is hard to use for a long conversation. I also have a Motorola. It is good from my end, but often the other side have trouble hearing me. My best experience is my old Sony Ericsson.
ohhhhh my since when they changed the rule that u must have a bluetooth/handfree device on while driving?? and is that official that they'll be changing the rules next year???
I'm looking at Jawbone Prime too... but I plan to buy 2... and that makes it really expensive.... Any good deals or good alternatives? I want both good performance and good looks...
