Not surprised at all. Some women with depression are naturally happier during pregnancy. This results in having many babies without really accessing their family situation. Seen quite a few clients of mine that they will have 4+ babies all within roughly 1 year apart in age. But these clients can't financially support the whole family without lots of subsidies. The worst case I saw was 1 bed room and 1 barely functional kitchen for 4 children and 2 adults in Vancouver Eastside.
I am guessing she out weights 9 months of happiness over the couple hours of pain? Maybe some mothers can give their own opinion of they are willing to share.~
Giving birth is not easy. I had to have c-sections, so I didn't know how vaginal labor is like, but from my 1st birth's contraction, it was really hard to imagine enduring the extreme contraction in your belly, your back, and still have to regulate your breath and push baby out. But even so, I really love the feeling of pregnancy.
