For landscape, Tokina 11-16 is a very good one, also the 12-14, best value.

The nikon 12-24 and 10-24 are good, but 10-24 is MIT or MIC ...

The 18-200 VR is a not bad walk around lens as well ...

Doesn't matter which nikon body, the new SB700 seems like a good flash ...

Do u have lots of old MILK lens you want to use on GF2?

GF1/2 is for trendy ... in fact, NEX3/5 offers much better IQ .. (bigger sensor .. ) of course, if you don't mind people say you are just using a SONY ...

If you compare quality (sensor/body) then 550D>D3100>GF2 ...  but again, what body, doesn't matter .. more important, lens.

There are different enjoyments between prosumer camera and DSLR, also depends on your needs and purposes. First gotta decide which direction you wanna go.

I have no len at all. This is an brand new investment for me. Very hard to decide which one is good for me, both has it own advantage.

    Than just go with Canon or Nikon, easier to find lens.  If one day you are really into it, you will stay in Canon, Nikon.  So no sony or panasonic.

It seems lately Nikon seems to produce better camera bodies.  Nikon seems to get you more value these days.  Say D7000 is just as good as Canon 7D (better AF, less Noise),

By the way, I wouldn't say D7000 has BETTER AF then 7D ..

You can say D7000 has MORE AF point to select.

Again, made in Thailand ( or china ) vs Made in Japan ..

I am not peter, so I pick made in Japan camera if I have a choice.

According this guy D7000 has better AF.  I haven't used it, but with more AF points meaning your AF tracking will be better.  Nikon is also cheaper.
Nikon is leading on every class on DSLR bodies.  But Canon has better video for sure.
