Welcome to the Alpha family, hahaha
How do you like it? Any review of the camera?

I like it so far.  Very easy to get into dslr thing.  I always forget about aperture and shutter speed but its graphical interface is nice.

The photos are much better than my old panasonic fz18 camera.

To me, it's easy to hold.  It also supports SD cards (instead of memory stick only).

I hardly use the lcd screen so the tilted screen did not do much for me yet.

Once I learn more about dslr and take more photos, I will give more detail review.

it is great that you like it. post some pictures here if you can. The lcd will be handy when you are going to take picture in weird angles.....

(btw, sony dslr never take memory stick only, it either takes CF & MS or CF only)

what lenses do you have?

I have two lens, one comes with the camera and another one is the 55mm~200mm?

Btw, since you are familiar with sony, do you know where I can get cheap wide angle lens?

You can see my signature for the photos I took.  They are all from the new camera.  I am not that good at DSLR yet.  Maybe you can give me some advice.

Tokina 11-16mm is the best choice .. I believe they just release Sony mount .. ^_^

Your kit lens is 18mm-55mm already, still not wide enough for you?

What local length are you looking for and what is your budget?

you can check out this site, lots of info for minolta mount users

Sorry .. I think Tokina just offer Nikon and Canon mount ..

You can also look at sigma 10-20mm or  Tamron 10-24mm

They both not the top notch super wide angle, but they are not bad.

I do not need super top notch because I am just learning.  Thanks for the advice.
