What is ur major anyways? non-business = language?? history?? Phil? I also grad from non-business major ah~~ but i got many work experience while i am studying..coz i need to pay the tuition myself...but if u want to work in Canada.. u need work experience..and actually it's better for u to study some special skills courses.. ex.. if u want to work in travel industry..u study tourism/ hotel management.. if u want to work in accounting field.. if u grad at UBC.. u can go to apply the DAP (accounting cert - around 11 courses, 33 credits program).. most of my frds took this after they grad from an Art degree.. I took 1 course there.. then give up jor..coz u need full time studying.. and i was working full time at that time...

I think you should start thinking what u want to do in your future..and decide what u should study more to get a job that u really want.. u can go back to BCIT and study some special skills course.. and they do have co-op which can gain u some experience too! Give it a try~~

fine arts with no work experience is tough...

find just any job to start with then keep looking for a better job la..."ride cow find horse"...

If u can't find job yourself, just find agency to help you. General office experience (data entry, reception, call centre, etc..) will help in any job you apply for.  Once you have some job experience, go to agency and ask for fields that you are interested in.

You degree from university is only useful for your first few years in your career. Once you have a few years of experience, your degree is just a prerequisite for the job.

actually I've tried Adecco and David Aplin......I sent my resume to their office location and applied to some of their 'entry' level job online, but I havent heard from them at all.  I dont really know  what I want to do right now, other than getting a job and gain some work experience first.

我覺得部份(其實是覺得大部份)時下年青人沒有的character就是恒心和堅持.或許真的有工作請,但是做了不久就說這份工不適合自己,自己不應該deserve這些工等等.有部份還會很短視,欠缺遠見,又或是自覺U-grad身份特別高.回想本人數年前joint major finance U-grad回港找工作的時候,找了一份需要找新客戶的金融工作.最初的數月要在街上穿上西裝派傅單,又沒有底薪,到現在是一家上市公司的部門主管.試問最開頭的辛酸又有誰能夠堅持?我不是想說自己多成功,只是想說一分耕耘,一分收獲.我見很多U-grad的年青人自以為是,幻想自己畢業後的工作應該像大老闆一樣,飲飲紅酒打打golf.沒錯,可能這樣的工作模式是你理想的,但一定不會是當你一畢業後就可以過著這樣的生活,工作模式.希望大家能夠回歸現實,打好基礎.
