How would that change and why would that change? When they have already grown up on that kind of corrupted value, what incentive do they have to change?

Honestly, it's all about values, and that is something you can only shape and influence while they are growing up. But if they have already developed a set of twisted views and sense of entitlement, then there is nothing you can do.
