Just 2 more years of Chinese growth make a big difference. Compare with BiscottiGelato's 2009 figures, the US GDP has increased very little by %. But for China it has increased $1 trillion for each year which is a large % increase.

For year 2011.

Even using BiscottiGelato's old 2009 figures. US adjusted for PPP GDP $45,755, China adjusted for PP ...

My bad, looked at the wrong figure. You are right. It's *only* about 6x GDP per capita per your 2011 figures, PPP adjusted.
