And also, I don't really like taking pictures unless I know the place well enough.  I am not interested in taking "scenic" photos. I want my photos to convey what I feel about the place.

It is easy to take a small DC ..  go HK ..  just small DC is ok ..  ( nowadays small DC, can take good pic )

Even Japan ..  US  etc ..  IMO ..  one small DSLR + 1 or 2 lens and flash is more then enough ( 40D etc )

Unless going to Europe or some special travel area ..  ^_^  

Biggest reason for me NOT to bring big DSLR for travel .. is TAX ..  dont want Canada Custom to bug me ..  ( even I bought my gears here ..  but they are so ma fan )

Honestly, I carry 2 DSLR with many of my shoot, just because I would really hated, if my camera fails w/o backup!!

Just the opposite of 快樂牛郎.  I enjoy so much taking pictures at new places, and don't when going to places I know well...!  I also really enjoy the time that I spend photography..!  To me it's one of the most relax state of my mind compare to my busy daily life!  (excluding wedding, or work related photography works)

At this time, I still don't think a regular DC can do what I want in most cases...!  I am still waiting for an inexpensive 35mm rangefinder to come out.., but I don't mind waiting for another 5 years.. haha!!

Rather then much cheaper ticket ..  US custom .. are not that crazy on TAX ....

I think still only selling with the black lens, not the pan cake silver lens ( and white body ) yet??

Um ..  Us spec and Cad spec may be different ..  no dual lens kits here ...

I actually don't know any places that carry olympus..!  It's probably all online only... for us here in Seattle...!
