18-200 VR II is a surprise wor ...

Since it's 18-200 is already damn good ..   

However, version II not always mean better gei ..  
It will be LB5 second hand price rise la..

I think the new 18-200 is mainly to address the lens creep problem...

and man, LB5 2nd hand price is dropping lately
I just saw one going for $1300 on craigslist earlier this week, VERY TEMPTING!

buy la buy la..    Still .  around $1500-1700 ( not scam, and good shape )

I saw $1300 .. but US$ la..  

As Nikon trend .. new lens price will be very high ..

So, will see, as both 14-24 and 24-70 are rated better then Canon, ( bottonline is, doesn't matter to USER, just matter to BUYER )

Will see how good this LB6 ..  ^_^

That's waaaaay out of budget for hobby purpose   

70-300mm would b enough for me...at best, used 80-200mm...

Yeah MoiR .. LB5 .. pretty good ga ..

After having LB2 and LB3 .. and using LB5 all the time, (never tried LB4) even they all have good optic, but I think LB5 is the way to go, VR is handy!


Used to have 80-400 VR ..  decent lens, good range too .... but after it was broken .. got the 70-300VR instead, so far so good .. ( for it's price )

the new 70-200 is heavy mroe than 1.5kg!  I guess it needs an update since people are complaining it's not sharp on FF
