yea.. . sure is gimmicky...

they have this smile detection feature on their cameras... it was kinda fun to play with when you first got it.. works sometimes and sometimes doesn't, it's something you'd trying out and never use again...

but yea face detection focus work pretty well on most cameras.

I think once people get used to it, they will act like it's not there. It can get some natural shots.
