One can keep a car for a long long time, but buy many other cars meanwhile.... Lots of LYK are indeed VERY rich, but not by changing cars, but by buying MORE cars. So maybe a better question is, how often do LYKs buy cars?

That said, unfortunately, i'm not one of those rich LYKs...

Last car was leased, so returned after 3 years. current car's 2nd hand. Car is 3.5 years old, I have ownership of it for 2.5 years so far.

I think a car could be driver over 200k if maintain properly, mine 04 is still running good, just a few small noises that I am still trying to figure it out.

I feel that I spend too much time hands-on with my car and I am feel I can't let it go.

My parent's car is from 99 and still very good condition

My parent's caravan is from 94 and still able to move.  That's amazing.

One of my car is from 1992, I don't own it since new but only for the last 6 years.  My other car is almost 5 years new and we are thinking to switch soon.

My previous cars last for 1.5 year (HK), 1 year (bike @ HK) and 7 years.  Wife's first car also last for 7 years too.
