Used Canon 5D Mark 2

I am missing video function on my camera, and thinking about picking up a used 5D Mark II.  What is a good price and what should I pay attention to when buy used?  Like Good serial no and etc.  Is it a good time to buy or there will be come entry level full frame coming up soon? What do you think?

Really depends on your main usage.

I don't use 5D2 mostly because of the slow focus speed and build/mechanic quality.

But, if you like landscape photography, it may be the way to go.

BTW, used price is cheap now in the range of CAD1500.

My friend just picked one up 3 months ago and he's happy. He doesn't shoot video though.

When I picked up original 5D.  Having a later serial no. means better screen and upgraded electronics.  So I am just wondering if I need to worry about those.

Slow focusing is not a deal breaker, as I use focus screen and manual focus.

I'd rather get a cheapie sony DV instead.  Shouldn't be too hard to find a decent one at $ 200.

7D is a better choice
