Interesting thought, but it's very hard for Japan to attack US now unless there is some kind of bio weapon, like resident evil, since US is too far from Japan, and US has army everywhere, even at Japan's front door.

China needs to build up the military, just in case. If Japan attacks the US, then China should take back Japan.

If Japan can rely on its own without bonding to other alliance, I think it's properly because both US and China are fade out in history...
