Remember the tips you learn from the very beginning of shooting.  Noon+bright sunny is not a good time to shoot.  It is the opposite is true.

Powell Street Festival is this weekend, good for a few hour of family fun.  I also hope City revitalizes this street, since it has so much character and history in here.  It holds a lot of memory for many.

It just depends on your style. For gritty street, bright noon is probably desirable. For portraits/landscape, not so much.
