I was keeping a close eye on this Dr. Wakefield along since the late 90s, and watched his demise during 2010/2011 .....

He's the anti-vaxxers that stirred up all kinds of FUD in the society, which lead to a lot of pseudoscience that becomes so rampant out in this "informed" internet world that we now live in.
Those anti-vaxxers who live by "herd immunity" should take notice.. unless your kids have immunity issues, otherwise: get vax'ed or your kids will suffer or even die of whooping cough, measles, etc.
(*too bad nobody seems to remember how painful the suffering through polio, or otherwise they would think twice about anti-vax (or thank the vaccine manufacturers for making them/offering them to the public).

and for those who choose to become anti-vaxxers with your lame excuses (with your firm believe in conspiracies, black voodoo magic, naturalist methodologies, etc.), good luck, Darwinism will eventually takes care of you and yours. |
