車門夾衣輾死女童 小巴司機只囚4月 慢跑

昨被判囚4個月及停牌18個月，死者雙親聞判後表示不滿，直斥被告從未為事件道歉。

痛失愛女 父不滿司機從未道歉

肇事女童譚綺君（6歲），其父聞判後雙眼通紅，指摘被告從開審至今未曾道歉，如被告有悔意應及早認罪。譚父又指出，面對女兒去世，作為人父難以滿意判刑，他目前未有打算以民事索償。

小巴司機黃兆安（49歲）被裁定危險駕駛罪名成立，裁判官林嘉欣判刑時指出，被告身為職業司機，卻犯下兩大錯誤罔顧人命：他選擇讓乘客在被鐵欄阻隔的馬路外下車，既未確定乘客安全即開車離開，亦沒發現女童被小巴拖行，若被告及時停車女童應僅受輕傷，其小生命亦不致失去。

判刑續指出，女童母親先行下車，是為了攙扶隨後的小童或老人，做法合情理，故女童母親不應受責。但裁判官考慮到被告並非因衝紅燈、醉酒或搶客導致意外，與同類罪行比較，尚算輕微，故判處被告入獄4個月。

官離庭折返 判停牌18月

惟裁判官判刑時僅處理刑期，待散庭後忽然折返，頒令判被告停牌18個月，其時主檢控官吳靄儀早已離開法院，需由負責案件的西九龍交通部高級督察常浩暫代控方。

案情指出，就讀協和小學的6歲女童譚綺君，去年1月8日隨母親由油塘高超道乘坐小巴上學，至旺角基堤道下車，惟女童的羽絨外套衣帶被小巴車門夾，譚母曾供稱目睹愛女，被迫隨小巴加速快跑，直至被小巴拖跌，其頭部遭輾過身亡。

shud'nt she let her little go first then she follows her behind? hm....

That's the way.

Whenever the elevator goes UP, Kid/ Elderly/Lady goes first and Gentlemen go behind to prevent the fall
when it's going DOWN, the stronger person goes down first to prevent the one behind falling

That's the etiquette

When I go into the van with my little cousins I can help them both ways (they or I can go first, doesn't matter) but when getting off the car, I have to go out first so that I can hold her as it is a big giant step for her to "jump off" the van.  I think that's why the mom got off first coz I will do the same...

But I wonder why it sounded like the mom is so far from the whole thing... coz even when I got out first I will be either holding my cousin's hand or if I have to help another cousin, the first cousin got off will be right next to me.  If the girls' jacket got caught, how come the mom didn't hit the body or the window of the car to give notice to the driver and run with the car holding the daughter's hand?  There's no one else in the minivan??
