Your opions about 西貢長命斜

What do you think about the 西貢長命斜 News?

I heard it for quite a few times on diff. media news.!  It seems like everyone think it is too steep, and long, and going 50km/h is still to fast?  Have anyone been there?  Is there really that steep?  Anyone know how steep is it relative to our % grade lvls?

(With more research, looks like it is 1:8 grade hill = 12.5% grade-hill.

%grade level 計算我就唔知. 不過我喺香港時行過條路好多次真係50km/hr都覺得急.
條路危險嘅主要原因除咗路斜,再加上路線彎曲另外去到出西貢方向分叉位(左線)再有急彎. 我覺得喺嗰條路如揸大貨車或者行左線都應好小心車速.

行過好多次，都唔覺有幾危險啫。行50km/h左右唔會覺有幾大問題。唔好揸再快就唔會有事。

i pass by this part of the road everyday i went to school back in HK.  but i can't remember the steepness of it.  however, i do remember the other steep road outside the "big owk" prison.
