Wedding at Terminal City Club

Has anyone attended a wedding banquet, or held / planning to hold their own wedding banquet, at the Terminal City Club downtown? If yes, what do you think about their food? I'm thinking of holding my wedding banquet there but would like to get some opinions first. Thank you so much!

Food is ok there. Not spectacular, but not bad either.

IMO, if you want to hold your banquet there, go there because you like the place and the atmosphere. Don't go there because of the food.

I do like the venue and the atmosphere there, but I also wanna make sure that the food is good. Not looking for anything spectacular (it's pretty subjective and I know I can't please everyone), but wanna make sure that the food is above average.

agree as well. My friend canceled his booking after the menu tasting at TCC. He said it's alright but not good. And my foodie friend didn't just want something "OK".

婚禮我就未去過。
不過我舊公司嘅聖誕PARTY就係個度搞過一次。
超唔掂。食BUFFET。。。真係麻麻。
最抵死係，到尾段，有三，四個同事衝咗入廁所狂搪。
我地係估D CAESARS嘅CLAMATO JUICE出事。
個年係我加入那公司的第一年。。。第二年，到我一手包辦聖誕PARTY，我啦啦聲轉場去PAN PACIFIC搞。。。差天共地。

We had our wedding there last year, but we had sitted dinner not buffet. They offered compliementary menu tasting so you will know how your food taste like. The tasting IMO was spectacular, no kidding it was so good that we put so much higher expectation to our day. It turned out obviously not as good as the tasting la, but we don't think it's considered bad either. And you know what? You will never find a venue that can be consistent in terms of food. IE. My bridesmaid had bad experience @ Pan Pacific and she said food is horrible there. Somebody said to me Marriott is not good either. Somebody doesn't even like Brock House also. It's a matter of luck sometimes. And some guests just hate buffet, whereeas some hated sitted dinner, so they can always make bad comment, simply not avoidable. If you look at weddingbells comment, TCC got pretty positive feedback to the food.

But yes, I picked that venue because the ballroom is pretty and more unique to my guests (this is really important to me , cuz I don't really wanna pick a super common place)and mostly relied to the comment I found from a local wedding forum.

I never had food at TCC so I only heard comment from my friend. He does have high standard on food. His prefered restaurant was gastropod but it's too small to host his wedding. btw he didn't have a wedding cake because both bakeries he wanted were fully booked.
on the side, we were having dinner at Boneta and he joined us after the tasting and ended up ordering an appie there and said the food there was MUCH better than what he just had.

actually Boneta may be a cool location for wedding banquet. But not many guests will like parking in that area..

I haven't been to TCC myself, but from most review from local forum, TCC is having good review.
