Just FYI, cops almost always show up, cuz they get paid to do so. I think you can ask the cop to reveal evidence involved and such, if you are even successful in contacting the cop. Oh, and FYI more, cops' are professional in making lives of the average citizen miserable... and judges pretty much don't really care sh_t about these small offenses, so don't be surprised if you got charged anyways. Maybe cheaper to not show up, (early payment is cheaper, saving gas, saving feeding the meter, saving needing to hop out of work for the day, etc etc). Learn to just suck it up, because given how Canada operates, injustice is just common occurence given the current state of the government, law, law enforcement and custom officers, etc.... Compared to the poor dude who got tasered and choked to death with no justice served to the murderers... really... suck it up and pay maybe the cheapest way....

or if u dont wanna pay much and dont wanna trouble when the cop shows up, just say u cant afford the ticket.

sometimes u get 75% off and allow u to have a much longer delay in payment lol

Last time I went to traffic court, the judge said they can no longer reduce the amount if it is at minimum. However, an installment or delay payment plan is negotiable depending on the accused situation and financial background.

If 90, yeah, go dispute b/c you were not speeding.  If 80, just pay the fine, no need to argue whether u were going 90 or 105, unless it bumps you to another fine level.

Yeah. ... I had the same experience..!  Since then, I tell myself to be alert with cops.., and drive with my own pace when they aren't present.

I always drive slower at speedzone, but would normally drive 60-80km/h in Richmond when the traffic flow is good...!  But then..that's history, since I move to Seattle few years ago.

To me I rather enjoy drive safely in my own pace, since no matter what speed I drive..cops still give out tickets..!  At lesat for this part..I think cops suck...!

Driving @ 200KM, that's not even funny, but plain stupid!  If you gonna drive this fast, go to the track!

106km is not even fast on barnet....  i've driven on barnet highway at 200km+  

i always see cops driving on the opposite side on barnet.... but my average speed driving around there is always 130-14 ...
