Anyone working for ICBC and able to tell me the basic rate of these cars??  Many thanks!!  

1.) Infiniti G37S Coupe
2.) Mercedes New C230 4MATIC & C350
3.) Audi A4 Avant & New TT
4.) Toyota Solara V6
5.) Honda Accord Coupe & V6 Coupe
6.) Hyundai Tiburon V6
7.) Nissan Altima Coupe & V6 Coupe
8.) Mazda 5 GT & Mazda 6 Sport GT

i thought the basic insurance is the same no matter what car you drive.  but your driving experience and use of car (e.g. pleasure, to and from work, short commute, etc.) would matter though.

though i heard coupes, sport sedans and a few specific cars (like the civic) would cost higher regardless of your experience.

I thought every car is different..because other than the fact that it's a different brand, different year, different style (SUV, sedan..etc), they also look at how often/probable your car will be stolen. For example, Dodge caravans are not expensive cars but they are stolen often therefore their insurance is not that cheap either...

I think insurance depends on.

1.  Brand/year/Model of the car (which car has higher percentage of accident/stoln rate, will be more expensive)

2.  Color of the car (Black, and Red will be more expensive)

4.  Where you live (Believe it, my friend has higher insurance rate in East Vancouver than Richmond)

"Myversa" doing good job & basically true. More, basic insurance is mandate & only include basic liabilities (C$200000), so you need buy extra liabilities.
And nobody would tell you the exact rate for all those cars basic insurance premium, if you want to compare those cars premium, you must bring all your personal information to ICBC broker (not ICBC) to compare, but I don't think they will do that for you because it's pretty boring for them unless you ask a good friend working in broker.
