Lookslike the American version of the very very popularandcoolest car tvshow on the planet, BBC's Top Gear, is finally comingtothe US of A,said NBC. However, don't expect to seeClarkson,CaptainSlow and Hamsterdoing any of their usual things onAmericansoil asnot only the redneckversion of the show will featureadifferent crew;and if any of those BBCTop Gear antics are doneinAmerica, it willprobably cause a riot and afew thousand lawsuits.
According to NBC reality chief Craig Plestis, "This is a favorite of all automobile companies as it shows their cars in such a great light." Somehow, I have a feeling that Craig here never really watched the orginal show at all.
Sobasicallyallthefun people are gone, and all their crazy stunts aregoneandmostimportantly all those funny opinionated interestingcarreviewsare gone.So will it be "Top Gear" anymore? or will it bejustanother(bad) show?Oh well...there is always BT I guess.
