I just had a talk earlier today about SUVs with some friends. We agreed that the Range Rover is considered the "king" of SUVs and somehow talked about the G55 amg and cayenne turbo being around the same level.
Range Rover is no king..., and not for land rover in general..! Land Rovers are very capable off road, but there are some better choice for the money.!
G Wagon are great for those who have the money, and know how to appreciate it! It is a very unique 4x4 capable Wagon/SUV. Front/Rear Lockers, plus Solid Front/Rear Axles..as well.

those things are designed to flip over, roll a bit, and still get you back to home base.
plus the V8 supercharged engine is direct cousin of SLR's engine la...
so i quote Top Gear...
at anyrate,
watch top gear's episode on the Cayanne : P they didn't say much good about it haha
it does have like 500 hp 0-60 faster than a M3..
but you you can't go offroad with it,
the turbo has brake disks the size of pizza's, and they don't make off road tires in that size : P
funny huh?
so you're stuck with only road tires
