    yes it is a save, please don't focus in the save, what make him down in the first place before he tried to block the cage with his body while Smyth shoot and he just help up his hand and luckily it shoot into his glove.

And wow I agree this is a goal that he had a chance on, but do you expect him to stop all possible chances?

It's hard for me to believe anyone can still criticize his performance last night.. Just simply ludicrous..

Do me a favor and watch some other games will you? Or do you just have an expectation that a goalie should stop every savable goal?

If so can you name a goalie who is doing that so far in the playoffs? Cus I cant think of one.

Again, to be fair, it needs luck to be good, and you got luck when you are good ..

Same as Kippy ..  of course, I am not big fan of him ..  and he always look LUCKY .. but he is damn good ...  

Positioning is one great part for a good goalie, not everyone is Hasek, can make crazy move ...   

Why Brodu is so good, (even he is not as good now) is his position, and how he handle the puck.

Luo is the same, he spotted Ryan, and he knew Ryan is not a good (powerful) shooter, and Ryan always like to shoot to the MIDDLE of the net. (as he knows his weakness too) So, Luo was smart enough to open his GLOVE, and made the save.

Yes, I do agree, it was a risky save, Luo was just taking a chance ..  as you won't see Rookie goalie makes that move. (IE, Jeff from Edmonton, he made some amazing save with fast move, but his position is terrible)

Anyway, down to Canucks and Haps, I highly doubt Haps can make it..  even they might steal one more game, but not game 7. (fun to see Haps vs Philly too!)

from day one, I was talking about consistence, making one or two huge save can't save the game. Can't give confidence to your teammates that he is reliable in front of the cage.

Consistently, so are you implying that he should stop every shot that he has a chance on? Well, I don't know anybody who do that. Not even partrick roy in his prime (or else his stats would be GAA: 1, save % 98 or something)

And making huge save does change the game. It's called momentum changer... Finally, why do you place the blame on him and not on sedin who lost his check?

He has been getting better through out the series and the breakaway save in game 4 changed the tide of series.
He has went from ok to solid to superb over the course of the series, so what exactly are you complaining about?

When you are stopping a shot that you are not suppose to save, you have to be both good and lucky.  just look at all the saves of the year thought out nhl history. it is usually goalie reacting insanely fast and then positioning themselves properly to make a improbable save
