Penalized, why?  just normal 12% tax, no duty although most of the items are clothing and shoes (and you know where they are made in).

I know garment is over 12% tax ga...coz long time ago I got some clothing shipped to here....custom charge me like 18%.... I forgot exactly rate la...

I think B2L2 just got taxed cos they did report how much they purchased.
If they tried to hide their shopping and was discovered by the custom officer from a search, then they may get penalized.

Most ppl agree to just be honest and report their purchase. And they may or may not get taxed.

I rather go more frequently for smaller amounts than buying one large amount in one trip.
