can I use a wacom product to write Chinese in Windows 7

cos I don't want to buy penpower again ... mine is too old for Win7.

You need software to recognize the writing. Therefore unless you can get those PenPower software to work with the Wacom, then you don't have a choice.

Or.. you can learn how to type... cheaper and faster than buying a new PenPower tablet every time when a new OS is out.

I heard that Mac users are using Wacom and 3rd party IME to write Chinese.  Wish I could do that in PC/Win7.

I hate penpower .... but we are too old to learn new tricks ...

Windows XP comes with handwriting recognition.  Have a look under ur text input method, its included with the microsoft pinyin IME.  So it should be included in the Windows 7 too.

you can use mouse to write some Chinese to see if it will recognize first.  wacom product is just another form of mouse in a sense.

yes, you can.
so far I can use Wacom to write Chinese, Japanese and Korean.
Remember to install the drivers provided by the product CD.

I used to do Chinese Input IME when I was using XP, but after Vista I have not install the Chinese language.
How do you select the language/regional in Window 7?
Please advise.

For Mac, I can use the trackpad to write Chinese!

If Apple one day release the Magic Mouse 2G, that allows 3 fingers multi-touch and can hand write Chinese, will it sell better?
