[茶餐廳] 牛仔餐廳 has opened in Vancouver 牛仔餐廳, 茶餐廳, East Van

Was driving down Kingsway east of Boundary and noticed that 牛仔餐廳 (Cattle Cafe) has opened in the same strip mall as Samosa Garden. The location is between Boundary and Tyne. Even though I'm not a huge fan of 牛仔餐廳 but it at least gives more 茶餐廳 options to folks living in the area. It's a pain sometimes to have to drive to Burnaby or Richmond in search of 茶餐廳 options! (I personally don't like 本味, 54th Avenue Cafe, and 海馬 )

檀島 is so bad that i totally forgot to include it in my list

@ACC-HE: is it? i always pass by that area and it's usually not that full. then again, now that there's a pho place there as well, finding spots might be a tad tricky.

@dmnf: i think the Burnaby location is still open.

檀島 is still here after so man years. Food is not bad there but I just don't like the location. It's hard to find parking on Main Street. Besides that, they really should have a renovation...

wow, is the Main St. location still there? the bad one that i was referring to is the one on Kingsway

Both Main Street and Kingsway/Joyce 檀島 are still there.

Haven't tried the Main St one but the Kingsway/Joyce one is really no good.  You need to have a good immune system to go there.  I always have stomach ache after going there.
