hi i think this spot is a great place to share each of our makeup secrets... but there are also rules:
1) one tips pert post
2)if you have a question or agree about someone else's response please "quote" it so it won't be confused with the core issue.
i will start! =)
whenever i am in a rush to leave the house, i always make sure i do not leave home without applying blush on my cheeks, otherwise i would look "sick-ish"
apply moisturizer when you face is a little damp~
after i wash my face i dry my face off completely, put on some toner if i feel like it.. wait for a min or 2 and then i mist my face with a mini spray bottle (like an atomizer)
this way you'll need to apply less moisturizer AND your skin will absorb the moisturizer better
i tend to carry around a small bottle of water spray for just-in-case scenarios like dull hair, spray on water to give it bounce, and spray it on my face after i apply makeup to make it last longer than 8 hours.
don't stop here! If you have some good tips, give it here =)
to accomodate climate changes, or hormonal/biological changes... in order to make my makeup last throughout the long work day, i have 2 types of makeup base.
1. moisturizing makeup base
2. mattifying oil control makeup base
when i wake up feeling dry, i use the moisturizing makeup base.
when i wake up feeling oily, i use mattifying makeup base.
In summer time which my skin tends to be more oily then other times during the year, I try to avoid using foundation everyday. Instead, I apply concealer to cover up red spots and I use a light gel-base blush. It gives me skin a natural look and glow without having heavy makeup covering my pores for the entire day.
