I just read from an online magazine that Morton's has closed down.

Also the link to make online reservation at Morton's (via opentable) is gone as well.

So 1 less steakhouse to choose from now.

Gotham is the best steakhouse in town, however it is way overprice.
I have to drive down to Ruth's Chris in Seattle just to protest.

Morton wasn't good. The last time I went they served us burnt steak... I didn't complain coz I don't want my food to go back to the kitchen not knowing what they are going to do with it when they brought it out again. I did mention to the waiter at the end of the meal, but they just apologized and didn't do other things to compensate.

Their food was way overpriced for what they are serving. So not surprise to see it closing down. Gotham is really good on the other hand. Food is good, service is good, Pricey though.

I was going to organize a friend's bday dinner there and try it out. That's how I found out that it's closed....

Cos they cannot rent their current location (Cannary ) anymore.
It's one of the few view restaurants that I still go. Pretty good food. I also like their service.

The Cannary is shutting down after the Olympics too... the classic Vancouver restaurants are going away

It will be one less choice to bring friends along with.
