My gf called me and told me the line was insane too.. I really wonder why.

The so-called surprise special is just a spring cleaning for their suppliers and warehouses for old stock. Essential popular stuff like current HDD, video cards, mobos, LCD are not reduced that much more. I rather pay a bit more on their regular sales than suffer the cold and the line-up.

Available in limited quantities. Limit of one per customer, per item. Price & quantity subject to change without notice. Available In-Store & Web.

the above message is from the online sale page. and the below message is from the aberdeen special page.

Available IN-STORE ONLY! All items are limited in quantity. All stock information has at least 20 minutes delay.

couldn't find the one special item per household message la.  "Limit of one per customer, per item" is only mean each customer can only buy one for each item.
yes, at least you got a free gift, but the funny thing is "intel promo only" is printed on the package or the usb.  didn't see the mouse & keyboard, not sure are they also freebies from other companies which suppose to use for promo that companies.

At least everyone got their NCIX shopping bag with either keyboard/mouse/usb as gifts.

cllo

they did state one special item per household on the website ga.

the worst thing is they didn't mention on their website that everyone can only get one surprise special item.  so if anyone is prepare to get few items in order to save some money, sorry, it won't work.  that is totally ridiculous.  line-up is not a problem, but you need to let people know what are they line-up for.  i was not there, but feel sorry for the people who lined-up since last night.
like h&m, they told people ahead that you can only get one item/style.  if people still lined-up for it, it is their choice.
