The topic of Christianity always stir some "heat" here. But how about Buddhism? Anyone here considered themselves 佛教徒 and willing to share some thoughts?
Here's something "funny" that 金庸 make use of the Buddhism belief:

In Genesis 1, God create Adam , a clone to his own face.
So Adam and his descentents should resemble God, and that
would be Jews. We do not look like Jews, and we do not

it sounds funny because you assume everyone believe god created the world.
I do not want any more arguing, too tiresome for an old man,
there are questions in life that I want to seek for answers,
but yet, after some 30 years, still seeking
God will let you know what he wants you to.
Why questioning God or Bible if you believe in him?
If you don't believe in Jesus then why did you get baptism?
If you believe in him then Bible is the place where you find the answer.
If you don't believe the Bible that means you don't believe in Jesus then there is no point to get baptism.
And yes everyone has a different life you can't expect god will do the same for everyone.
If you're too proud to think that you can judge god like some other people then go ahead.
But it sounds funny to me when God created the world and you
but someone like you is trying to question how did that that that and that happened?

I read bible because I want to know more about Christianity, the religion and
history.
How do you know that I never ask? It took me over 10 years before I finally got
my baptism. I questioned many ministers, scholars without substantial answer.
The replies are typical:
Have faith in God
You will find the answer yourself down the road
There are many things you know their existence without seeing them, like wind,
electricity and air, how about the Qi?
I believe in the great spirit, the faith ,love and peace of mind.
I still haven't find the answer, maybe I'm not old enough??
I told my college son, he can do whatever he want, just to remember who he is,
and do not do anything that would disgrace his lord.
Buddhism? Fascinating, but unreal.
Worst still, many, many older people insist that they are Buddhism, in fact they know little or nothing about buddhism, worshiping ancestors is Confucisism , Feng Shui is something totally different. The Tibetian Buddhism, Japanese Buddhism and Hinduism
got all mixed up.... well, too complicated for my lifestyle. I have no problem with vegetarianism thou
What's the purpose of reading bible? if you really read the book carefully.
if you think everything written in the bible was a lie then why didn't you ask some professionals about your questions?
if your points are so strong that every christians can't deny then why there are still people believe it or they're too dumb to understand your facts?
if buddhism is more logical to you then go for it. Good luck.
