what happen when you look like a homeless guy and some people insist to give you money
according to the canada criminal code. this could be considered as false pretense. for personal financial gain. i know that. but in practice. its not that easy to get done.
(A) i was eating from the garbage and some guy approached me asked me to take his money. amount varies from a bunch of change to a 50 dollar US.
(B) i have taken monetary donation like that for i dunno how much and how long until few years ago. i got myself familiar with the law. and started to say no.
(C) i have been taking out my bank card from my wallet and show them. worse comes to worst. i will tell them how much money i have at my bank account.
(D) believe me. i have met people who insist to give me their bills or otherwise they will slit their wrist. (you cannot imagine all kinds of people approach me with their problems and expect me to give them a solution)
(E) some people simply do not wanna believe. a dirty looking man who picks up cigarette buds and eats out of the dumpsters. will not accept. their money. (plus he says he has money. he must be crazy. i have pissed some people off this way. and they never talked to me again. like i have hurted their self esteem.)
(F) not recommend to anyone else to eat out of garbage. according to the vancouver coastal health. for those who know me for years (in real life not virtual reality). they eventually leave me alone.
(maybe once in awhile like christmas time. some guy will have a mental breakdown. and no matter what. if i dont take his money. he is not walking away.)
i guess. the main thing is. when it comes to money. there is no room for false pretense and misrepresentation. |
