What's good near Portland downtown?

Thinking to take Amtrack train down for 3 days-2 night.

When is good time to go to Rose Garden?

Any where to go at night?

Thanks.

BTW, I've been to a very good chinese restaurant there.   They have some good foods that you can't get in Vancouver, and it's far better than any chinese restaurants here in Seattle..!  Is worth trying.

x2 for Pearl district if you don't mind to just go down and relax. Not so much of a sightseeing or particular spot for any special activities tho... Just a relaxing stroll. It's a really relaxing place with a handful of pretty nice restaurants.

The pearl district is cool (it was like a family style yaletown )

thanks.

I have been to wood burn outlet many time already and of course the fry's.

I might still go if time permits.  I was wondering if anything downtown that would be interesting to go visit.

Look from street view portland's Chinatown was even smaller than Vancouver's.  I might go to the zoo too.
