2 Comment(s)  9 Recommendation(s) VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Those red mittens are back!  The cheap and wildly popular souvenirs from the 2010 Winter Games have been updated and re-launched by the Canadian Olympic Committee.

The new version features a Maple Leaf that wraps around each hand and the word 'Canada' on the cuff.  Roughly three million pairs of the original mitts were sold.

Oprah Winfrey even handed them out to her studio audience during the Vancouver Games.

Proceeds from the $10 mittens will continue to support Canadian athletes.  You can buy them at The Bay, Zellers and Home Outfitters.

    Well, people are willing to buy,
     it is supply and demand   market.     I did  not buy any.

Another way to squeeze for more money. Release a new version of mittens after the Olympics has been over for more than 6 months.
