I went there on Oct 1, the first day.
I can say ... SUPER DISAPPOINTED.
The biggest problem is the restaurant is totally NOT ready to do All You Can Eat.
1) I went there at around 7:45. And I was already the last table they can take. There were so many other people they rejected.
2) I had to wait for 1 hour to get my first dish. During that time, I saw so many complaints from other tables, and so many people left.
3) Finally the food came, not because the chef was quick, but other tables left, so that they had EXTRA food for us.
4) Food quality: Ok.. so so... small dish.. and those appetizer were COLD like HELL.
5) MANY restrictions. You can only order 5 things at the same time.
6) Waiter and Waitress were all frustrated as you can see on their faces.
7) My friends and I felt like we were begging for food.
one word: OMG. i won't go back. pay $20 (HST + TIPS) for that?? no way. I pay $20, I can still get my tummy filled up by just going to Charm Modern Thai (same chain)
so, if you wanna go, here are my recommendations:
1) Go fuxking early. like 6.
2) Other 5 quick dishes first, (though hard to tell which ones are quick.. but common things should be faster. like curry.), and for each dish, order more than 1 quantity. Each dish is tiny.
3) DO NOT order spring roll and Chicken wings. COLD LIKE HELL. Order Satay is good but it will take forever.
4) DO NOT sit outside. While you are starving, you don't want to sit outside when it is cold AND they don't fuxking turning on the outside heat, and turn off all the outdoor light
5) DO NOT feel bad if the waiter or waitress give you food like giving food to begger. Yes. you are begging for their food.
6) Remember to park underground, not on the street. Because it does't worth you to pay $4 to park on the street for this kinda experience. |
