Nah...I won't go for appeal...most likely won't change much...
I mean...as long as everybody else is getting similar % increase...I think it's more "fair"...haha
You can go for re-assessment, but the difference won't be big. These years the appraisals for properties have been prepared quite accurately... Calculations are based on direct comparison approach (purchaser will to purchase), cost approach and income approach (e.g. renting value)...
So, in order to appeal successfully, you have to be quite familiar with the market and do quite a bit of researches...
Can't help, the cities are waiting these funds to "open rice"...
