Suspicious package found on Canada Line Station

0 UPDATE 3:40 p.m. PST: The police incident has been resolved. The Canada Line is now operating as usual. Vancouver police were called in to look into the incident. While they were on scene responding to a report of a suitcase left unattended at the station, the owner showed up to claim the bag.
VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Major delays on the Canada Line this afternoon.
Transit Police confirm it's due to a suspicious package being found at Broadway-City Hall station.
The Canada Line is operating between Waterfront and Olympic Village stations and from King Edward Station to Richmond and YVR. Shuttle buses are being set up between Olympic Village and King Edward.
No word on how long the closure may be in effect. |
