0 VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - New research from the University of Michigan indicates that even though men spend more time behind the wheel, women are more likely to be involved in a car crash.
The study looked at over 6 million car crashes in the US and found women were more likely to be at fault.
This woman tells News1130 she has her doubts about the report. "I think that sounds unlikely to me, I think that just sounds unlikely. Any of the reckless driving I've seen always seems to be one demographic, young guys generally."
But Mike says the numbers don't surprise him. "Most of the accidents I see there's a woman that caused the accident. Men are on the road more often, women don't drive enough."
According to the research, men spend about 20 per cent more time behind the wheel than women |
