Memorial service planned for Lyle and Marie McCann

ST. ALBERTA, ALTA. (NEWS1130) - They have yet to be found, but Lyle and Marie McCann will be remembered at a memorial service in St. Albert, Alberta next Saturday.
Their son, Bret McCann, says an obituary has been published in a local paper to let people know about the service. The memorial will coincide with the couple's 59th wedding anniversary.
"We're going to approach this memorial as a celebration of their life," he says. "We want to look back on their life together and celebrate the good times."
The McCanns disappeared a year ago while they were driving their motorhome from Alberta to Abbotsford. The charred wreckage of the RV and an SUV they were towing were found a short time later.
"We've realized, of course, that my parents are deceased, and so this is trying to bring some closure to that, turn the page on that if you will, but we're still very focused on trying to find out what did happen to my parents. |
