Just look at what the Chinese are doing for the past 30 years. They have liberalized their economy resulting in a rapidly developing economy. A lot more needs to be done especially in education, health care and environment protection.
However, all these require a lot of money. Doing all these without big deficits or bankruptcy is a challenge for any country.

According to Marxism, capitalism will collapse by itself eventually due to inequality and bankruptcy (look at Greece, US and Japan).

That is why China is modifying and improving on Marxism to suit it needs. China is still rapidly developing and more measures will be made to reduce inequality.

Americans are the examples for the Chinese, these so-called American Patriots are living in constant fear of been attacked by other countries. Their unjust foreign policy had been the very cause of this current state.

To US: We don't hate you because of your freedom and prosperity, for us Canadians, we are actually living better lives than you gun-holding bastards. We are peace-living people, your economy is based on attacking other countries and rebuilding them for profit. Freedom in disguise, Militarism in the effect.

To China: We don't hate your wealth, but your lack of equal distribution of wealth using Communist propaganda to impose police state towards it's citizens

If you think about it, these Apple staff from the US should be freedom loving people and now they are contradicting themselves by trying to stop the protest.

I would not be surprised if Mr Lik or other people from western democracies are as contradictory as these Apple staff.

They even tried to tell Hong Kong police to do something about the protest.
