No one interested to the new 5Dm3, 1Dx or D4??

What an exciting year for new camera.  Yet I am surprise no one talk about this here at all.

Beside those big 3 DSLR, the Fuji X-Pro 1 is also very attractive, it's so classic, and seems to be much better value than the Leica.  I play with the X100 at the store, and really like the hybrid viewfinder.

So, what do you all think??

BTW, anyone here shoot Nikon??

your asset stays on the book until it depreciates to $0. A 5d right now is still worth $800 - $1000. Sure it will go down to $0 someday but then you are paying $1,500 more over the course of I don't know how many years. You can either save $100 a year or enjoy a supposingly better camera.

She means saving from the ~ $1500 cost diff ..  not SAVING in bank ...  (nothing's wrong too) ...

But she's not really "saving" $1,500. If she cooks at home instead of going out, then she really saves $10. But by spending $1,500 more on a camera, you also get a camera that's worth $1,500 more (maybe a bit less than $1,500 due to depreciation). The net saving is at most a couple hundred dollars.

Money can be saved ... made .. or spent ..  I know lots of people make more money then you and me (I am very positive LOL ) but they like to "SAVE" money too wor ..

Yes ar .. but .. they are not really out yet ..

5D3 ...  no choice .. will pick it up when it is out .. good thing is, it is BEFORE the 1DX .. so .. instead of spending $7K plus .. will be 4K now .. (if they hv same, or very close AF system now the main advantage for 1DX is fps and weather proof etc .. ) Will see how the new 61 pts af vs the 45 af and the 51 pt af ..  

D4 .. um .. wil be nice .. but .. I dont think I will go for it, D800 is tempting .... $800 less then 5D3 ..  36mp .. (even from Sony most likely) great AF/Video ..
