Sun Run周日開跑 運聯交通有新安排

本報記者報道

這個星期日（4月20日）的太陽長跑（Sun Run）舉行的日子，參加人數估計將會超過5.6萬人，如果再加上觀眾，屆時溫哥華市中心，可能出現多達10萬群眾的人潮。

因此，大溫運輸聯網（TransLink）宣布，將會在星期日當天，調整巴士、架空列車、海上巴士和西岸快車（West Coast Express）服務，以方便民眾進出溫市市中心。

岸山巴士和西溫巴士多條路線，包括4號、7號、10號、16號、22號、84號、98B線、C21號、C23號，以及來自北岸的巴士，星期日將會暫停駛入溫市市中心舉行太陽長跑的街道，直至正午12時才恢復正常。  

架空列車會比平常的星期日，提早30分鐘開始服務，英王喬治站將於早上6時38分開出首班車，洛歇中心（Lougheed Centre）首班車開出時間是早上6時45分。另外，整個上午都會以平日的繁忙時間表運作。西岸快車則會在早上7時，由米遜市（Mission）開出一班車前往Waterfront站，回程則於下午1時開出。

海上巴士將於早上7時02分開出首班船，以後每15分鐘開出一班，直至下午2時45分，然後每隔半小時一班直到深夜。

How long does it take you guys to sun WALK? i joined this year for the first time in my life but i'm pretty sure i'm gonna walk as well.

My coworker did sun "walk" last year and he said about 1.5-2 hr depending how fast you walk.

I "Sun Walk" every year I remember the past few years it rained I hope there's good weather but not too sunny la

I joined too...but also...I think I'm going to be "sun walk"...

Actually I prefer cooler weather. Running under the sun is not great...

I am going, but I think I will just do Sun Walk, LOL
heard that it will be only 5 degrees and with flurries, thats BAD


edit: just checked weather.ca, looks like it is not going to rain or snow...thats better, but the temperature is still around 7 degrees......
