Besides working on the cruise or teach in Japan, does anyone know jobs that travel aboard or offers you residence?

Thanks for all the info.  Sounds like working aboard is not fun.

Oh, another note:

Be prepared to live rather poorly (get paid poorly) if you are to go after an overseas teaching (English) job with R&B. They don't pay you too well to begin with (too many capable "teachers" driving down the pay).

Do shop around for opportunities. Last that I heard: if you are willing to work @ a resort or similar for summer, Cayman Island and somewhere in the Bahamas, you might have a job there...but then again: you are fighting the locals RE: job opportunities so you are typically treated with long work hours + poor pay...

Good luck.

your options are fairly limited these days:

RE: teaching in japan, your gain/earning is relatively poor; some organisation may offer additional room-n-board via onsen or similar, but will further deduct from your teaching package. Some larger organisation (such as Bridgestone tires) may include that into their job offering).

Cruise ship is hard work.
