Rogers $17.5 or Fido plan? Fido, plan, Rogers

Rogers, Fido and others now have their $17.5 plans. Which one is better than the others? It is confusing for the average consumer.

but both $17.5/mth plan do not have unlimited network calling....

if any customer is thinking about for $17.5 plan
that means they dont need too much airtime.

to be honest, Rogers reception is better because the network is larger,
but it's talking about outside greater vancouver area.....

I say depends on where u live. if u live in richmond, van or burnaby, go w/ fido, anywhere else would prob have not as good reception.

besides the bill by second thing, fido has the fido to fido plus (which is unlimited to: 1) fido to fido, 2) fido to rogers, and 3) fido to rogers home phones) whereas rogers has only rogers to rogers and rogers to rogers home phones...no such thing as rogers to fido...so retarded...

Well and Rogers currently has better phone selection.
Fido bills by second. (makes a difference!)

1) Rogers has activation fee on the $17.5/mth plan
2) both Rogers & Fido is 3 yrs contract
3) Yes, there's SAF $6.95 + 911 $0.5 each month
4) line quality, Rogers network is bigger, but you can pay $5 extra in Fido for expanded network
5) text msg is 2500 incoming msg free each month, out going msg is pay per use at 15 cents local, 25 cents for international

both plan is 200 mins for day time
Unlimited nighttime starts at 5:00pm in Fido; 6:00pm in Rogers

Ask them the followings:
1) activation fee (Bell is free)
2) contract terms, 1 year, 2 years etc
3) system monthy fee ($6.95)
4) line quality at your area (get some reference from your friends)
5) text messages charge (Roger no charge)
